The same homes, wherever you book

Canterra Stays homes are listed on the travel platforms many guests already use, including Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia and Google, and they can be booked on canterrastays.com. Every stay is prepared and hosted by the same team. The platforms are our partners: if you have an account, saved payment details or a review history on one of them, booking there is a perfectly good way to stay with us.

What differs: who takes payment, and whose terms apply

Payment

A platform takes your payment under its own rules and adds whatever fees it charges its guests. On canterrastays.com, payments run through Stripe, the same infrastructure the major platforms use. Card details are never handled by us, and you receive a written confirmation and an invoice.

Deposits

Bookings made on canterrastays.com carry a refundable security deposit, placed as a hold on the card on check-in day (a hold, not a charge, and never part of what you pay) and released within 14 days after check-out, less only itemized charges we explain item by item: CA$1,000 for homes under 4 bedrooms, CA$1,500 for 4 to 5 bedrooms, CA$2,000 above 5 bedrooms. Platform bookings follow that platform's own damage policy instead.

Cancellation

Bookings made on canterrastays.com are non-refundable once confirmed, whether paid in full or in interest-free instalments, which is why we recommend travel insurance on every one of them. A platform booking follows the cancellation policy shown on that platform's listing, and some guests prefer that flexibility.
