A gathering beyond the guests staying needs our written approval before you arrive (ask reservations@canterrastays.com), at a whole home only, and a CA$35 fee per attendee, plus 13% HST, applies unless we waive it in writing. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM. House & Events Policy

Common questions

How far in advance should we book?

Large homes are typically booked 8 to 12 months ahead, especially for summer and long-weekend dates. Smaller homes and mid-week stays are often available 3 to 6 months out.

Can our group split the cost of the home?

Yes. It's one home and one total, so the group can divide it however suits it, usually by household or by room. Split payments for the group, in a free workspace, are coming soon: join the early-access list on this page.

How many people can a group home sleep?

Spacious GTA homes and estates sleep groups of up to 20, with the bedrooms, living space and kitchens to host everyone under one roof rather than scattering the group across a hotel.

What occasions are group stays good for?
