The space

The front door opens onto a tiled hall with the kitchen beside it. The living and dining room runs to the windows and a door onto the south-facing balcony, about 530 square feet in all, on a high floor. The bedroom has its own door, a floor-to-ceiling window and a closet, and the four-piece bathroom and a laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer are off the hall.

Furnished and ready

A queen bed made up with hotel-quality bedding, a sofa and a TV, a dining table for four and a dedicated workspace, and a bistro table and chairs on the balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped, from cookware to cutlery, and linens and towels are supplied.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped, with granite counters and a breakfast peninsula, a stainless steel refrigerator with freezer, an electric range and oven, an over-range microwave and a dishwasher.

The building

The building has a 24-hour concierge and security, an indoor pool, a sauna, a fitness centre, a golf simulator, a party room and a meeting room, guest suites that visiting family can book through the building, and visitor parking. The suite comes with one underground parking space of its own.

The lease at a glance

Tenancy

Weekly, Monday to Sunday, on Ontario's standard lease. You do not have to move out at the end of a term.

Rent is due

Every Monday, in advance. Pay the way that suits you: card, Interac e-Transfer, bank transfer, PayPal, Payoneer, WeChat Pay or Alipay, or have your company pay us directly. You get a receipt every time.

The building

The building's management registers every resident before move-in, and the host team arranges it with you.

Moving in

A joint inspection with the host team: every furnishing and appliance in the lease is checked with you, item by item, with photographs.

Tenant's liability insurance is required. Contents insurance is your choice. The rent and the dates of your lease are agreed with you when the suite becomes available.

One rent. Nothing to set up.

Where you'll be

Yonge & Sheppard is the centre of North York. Line 1 runs beneath Yonge Street straight downtown, and Line 4 runs east along Sheppard. Mel Lastman Square, the North York Central Library and the Meridian Arts Centre are a short walk north, the Yonge Sheppard Centre has groceries and everyday shopping, and Highway 401 is a few minutes south by car.

From first message to moving in

1. Ask. Tell us who is coming, from when, and for how long. Two minutes.
2. Talk it through. The host team replies by email with the homes and dates that fit, and answers your questions. Usually within one business day.
3. Apply. One application for everyone moving in, and we confirm who will be paying. A day or two.
4. Sign. A stay agreement for an Extended Stay, or Ontario's standard lease for a Residence, signed on paper or electronically. Once the details are agreed.
5. Move in. The keys are ready and the utilities are already running. For a Residence we walk through the home with you, item by item. On your start date.
