Common questions

How many people can one Canterra Stays home sleep?

The largest Canterra Stays homes, The Castlemore Estate, The Poolside Estate and The Homecoming Estate, sleep up to 20 guests under one roof. A group too big for one home can book two to four homes in different buildings for the same dates, in one booking and one payment.

How does a group split the cost of a home?

A Canterra Stays home books as one total for the whole stay rather than a price per person, so the group divides it however suits it, usually by household or by room.

How far ahead should a group book a large home?

Canterra Stays' large homes are typically booked 8 to 12 months ahead, especially for summer dates, and the estates that sleep 20 fill first. Smaller homes and off-peak dates are often available 3 to 6 months out.

How long do group stays last?

Canterra Stays homes are made for stays of five to seven nights or more: a reunion, a milestone celebration or a trip with friends, with the whole group under one roof for the week.

What are the house rules for a group?

Gatherings for the registered group are welcome within the home's stated capacity, daytime visitors included, and quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM. Anything beyond the group's own plans is approved in writing in advance, under the House & Events Policy.
