The Castlemore Estate, The Poolside Estate and The Homecoming Estate each sleep up to 20 guests, with seven or eight bedrooms and several living areas, so the wedding party and closest family can stay under one roof. A wedding books a whole home, never a single floor or a suite.
How far ahead should a wedding-week home be booked?
Canterra Stays homes are typically booked 8 to 12 months in advance, and the estates that sleep 20 fill first, so book the home in the same season as the venue.
Can the wedding itself be held at the home?
A Canterra Stays home hosts the wedding week, not the wedding event: the wedding party staying together, the getting-ready morning, family meals and gatherings for the registered group within the home's capacity and quiet hours. The ceremony and reception belong at a licensed venue, and anything larger is approved in writing in advance.
Does Canterra Stays help with decor and catering?
Yes. After you book, Canterra Stays introduces you to its approved decorator and caterer, and you work with them directly for the home and your venues; outside vendors can be arranged with advance notice.
