A Canterra Stays Long Stay is a furnished home in the Greater Toronto Area for a month, a season, a year or more, with electricity, heating, hot water and water included. There are two kinds. Residences are six-bedroom homes in Brampton and Mississauga, leased by the year to one group. Extended Stays run from 28 nights to a whole season in five homes, between 1 November to 30 April.

A Residence is a lease, and an Extended Stay is a stay with an end date. A Canterra Stays Residence is a furnished six-bedroom home let to one group on Ontario's standard lease, under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, for a year or more. An Extended Stay is 28 nights to a season in a home that takes short stays for the rest of the year, on a written stay agreement with the end date set before you arrive.

Canterra Stays takes Extended Stays from 1 November to 30 April. Those are the quieter months for short stays in the Greater Toronto Area, so the homes are free for weeks or months at a time. From May to October the same homes host wedding weeks, reunions and summer visits, and return to short stays.

Five Canterra Stays homes take Extended Stays: The Castlemore Estate and The Poolside Estate, with eight bedrooms each, in Brampton; The Wedding & Group Retreat, with four bedrooms, in Brampton; the Downtown Skyline Penthouse, with one bedroom, in Toronto; and the Square One Suite, with one bedroom, in Mississauga.

Canterra Stays has two Residences: The Brampton Residence, in Bram East, and The Mississauga Residence, in Malton beside Toronto Pearson Airport. The shortest Canterra Stays long stay is 28 nights. An Extended Stay can run for the whole season, from 1 November to 30 April. A Residence has no end date: it is leased for a year or more, and the tenancy continues for as long as it suits the residents.

Every Canterra Stays long stay includes the furniture and linens, an equipped kitchen, electricity, natural gas heating, hot water, water, laundry in the home, parking, and a host team you can message. At a Residence all of this is part of one weekly rent. Meals are not included; an optional tiffin service delivers home-style meals to the door and is billed separately.

A Canterra Stays long stay can be paid by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or UnionPay), Apple Pay or Google Pay, Interac e-Transfer, bank transfer, PayPal, Payoneer, WeChat Pay or Alipay, or by invoice paid directly by a company. How you will pay is agreed before you sign and written into your agreement or lease, and a receipt is issued for every payment.

Yes. Canterra Stays invoices employers, relocation firms, insurers and travel programmes directly, and a family member can pay for a guest. The payer is agreed in writing before the stay begins, and every receipt is issued in the payer's name.

Yes. Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 allows a tenancy to run weekly, and Ontario's standard lease has a weekly option. Canterra Stays Residences are weekly tenancies with rent due every Monday, which suits residents who are paid weekly or every two weeks.

On a Residence, Canterra Stays may take a rent deposit of no more than one week's rent, applied to the last week of the tenancy, and a refundable key deposit. Each Residence page states what its own lease says. On an Extended Stay, the deposit is set out in the stay agreement before you sign.

Yes. A Canterra Stays long stay can be arranged from abroad. The enquiry and the conversation are handled by email, across time zones, and payment can be made from outside Canada. How the agreement is signed, on paper or electronically, is settled with the host team before you travel.
